Base Course Type 1 is a 1½″ minus dense-graded crushed aggregate designed for high-strength road base and foundation layers. Produced to meet NMDOT Section 303 specifications, it contains a well-balanced mix of coarse stone and fines that compact tightly to create a stable, long-lasting surface.
